Ways to Get to LTX 2019 x DreamHack
There are a lot of options for getting to the Vancouver Convention Centre for LTX 2019 x DreamHack.
If you’re flying into Vancouver the closest airport is the Vancouver International Airport (YVR). If you plan on staying in the Richmond, or Downtown Vancouver area there are great public transit options directly from the airport. Our rapid transit system is called the SkyTrain, and has 3 lines branching out from the Vancouver area. From the airport, take the Canada Line through Richmond, straight to Waterfront Station a short 5 minute walk to the Vancouver Convention Centre. All SkyTrain stations also have bus stops conveniently located near by to help with connecting you to other places around the city. For more information and to plan your route head to the TransLink site.
If you live locally or plan on renting a car during your stay, there is ample parking conveniently located under the East Building of the Vancouver Convention Centre. The parkade entrance is located at the corner of Howe St and Canada Place. Operated by West Park, it is open 24 hours, 7 days/week so there’s no need to worry about your car while gaming the night away.
Road-tripping to the Great White North? If you’re taking the I-5 up from the Seattle area you’ll cross into Canada at the Peace Arch Border Crossing open 24 hours. From there continue on HWY 99 all the way into Vancouver. Watch out for one way streets when driving downtown. Google Maps is your friend here! There are two other border crossings, one in Aldergrove open until 12am, and the Sumas crossing in Abbotsford also open 24 hours. We’ll see you there!
